Instruction Minor
UW-Superior education programs are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to fulfill specific licensure requirements for the state of Wisconsin at the time of degree completion. Some requirements may unavoidably change as state requirements change; students should stay in close communication with their advisors throughout your program. If students seek licensure in a state other than Wisconsin, they should review the UW-Superior Institutional Certification Office web page for further information and assistance.
This minor is intended to be paired with an eligible DPI-approved licensure area offered at UW-Superior. K-9 Elementary Education majors must complete this minor to be eligible for the Wisconsin K-9 teaching license. Student teaching and all other licensure requirements must also be successfully completed. This minor is not available to non-education majors. A grade of C is required for all courses in this minor (except for B requirements in T ED 200 Introduction to Education and the pass requirement in T ED 100 Orientation to Teacher Education.)
