NSED 321 Teaching Elementary/Middle School Science 3.00
Students will develop science teaching practices for grades K-9, including investigation-based science lessons that support elementary and middle school students as they engage with, explore, and explain science phenomena. Peer-to-Peer teaching required. A minimum grade of C in this course is required for all education majors.
This course meets one requirement for undergraduate education majors which leads to the EA or A licensure OR 4-12 licensure in Wisconsin and for undergraduate elementary education majors seeking a K-9 license.

NSED 339 Secondary Methods in Science Education 3.00
General principles and problems of teaching science in the secondary schools. Emphasis on organizing teaching activities, teaching materials, resources, and current methodology. This course includes a required pre-student teaching clinical in grades 9-12. A minimum grade of C in this course is required for all education majors.
