Interdisciplinary Studies (Comprehensive) Major

Requirements

53 total major credits

This major is available to on-campus or online students.

The student must work with their academic advisor and the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) Coordinator to develop the Interdisciplinary Studies major (comprehensive) plan and application.

For the purpose of this major, a 'discipline' or 'discipline area' is either courses with the same prefix OR courses from multiple prefixes that are thematically-tied (the thematic relationship between multiple courses would need explanation in the student program plan narrative).

  2. At least 9 credits and no more than 30 credits are included in each of the two discipline areas.
