Requirements
UW-Superior education programs are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to fulfill specific licensure requirements for the state of Wisconsin at the time of degree completion. Some requirements may unavoidably change as state requirements change; stay in close communication with your advisors throughout your program. All Grades 4-12 licensure students must also meet the grades 4-12 professional education requirements, including the instruction minor. Students will also be required to maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA in their math content courses before being placed for student teaching; otherwise, the students will be required to pass a subject specific Praxis II exam designated by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in their math content courses.
